Background and experience


Meg Gouraud grew up in Connecticut. She attended the University of Colorado, earning a B.S. in marketing.
Meg spent the next three years back in Connecticut, where she studied black-and-white photography
and began her career in bookselling. She has lived in Canon City, Colorado since 1977, during most of which
time she owned the Book Corral. Since retiring from bookselling, Meg is again devoting her time to photography.
She has attended several workshops lead by John Fielder and travels around the southwest and in Alaska whenever she can.
